CDEF sp. z o. o. in partnership with the Polish-Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce received a grant from the European Union for the project "The Path to Work for Citizens of Ukraine".

We are implementing the project so that adult citizens of Ukraine (migrants and refugees) can improve their professional qualifications so that they can continue their employment or take up employment in the Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship.

Recruitment of participants for the project will begin in December 2024.

We have planned the following activities in the project:

stage 1 diagnosis of professional needs – defining an adequate development path consistent with the expectations of the labour market through career counselling and active job placement for 180 people.

Possible accompanying support: interpreter during counselling.

stage 2 training contributing to finding or continuing work in line with the individual action plan and the expectations of the labor market for 180 people. To choose from:

  • Training to improve skills (approx. 50 hours)
  • Training to improve qualifications (approx. 150 hours of training)
  • Training to improve competences in Polish/industry language (min. 25 hours)
  • individual psychological and advisory support (20 hrs/person)

Possible additional support: training scholarship, financing of childcare for a child up to 7 years old, mobile interpreter

stage 3 internships with employers for unemployed people – 1 or 2 months.

Possible accompanying support: internship stipend, financing of childcare for a child up to 7 years old, mobile translator

stage 4 work – additional activities supporting employment:

  • Employment mediation
  • Constant monitoring of the demand for employees for project participants
  • legal support
  • translation of documents for work, nostrification of documents

The result of the project will be the acquisition of competences/qualifications by 180 people and the taking up of employment by 33 people who have been unemployed until now.

Ultimately, we want to professionally activate and integrate 180 Ukrainian citizens legally residing in Poland with the Polish labor market by December 12.2025 as a result of receiving support adequate to our own needs and the labor market.
